Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are becoming an increasingly popular alternative to university. An apprenticeship generally takes between one and four years and is a mixture of on and off the job training. The majority of time is spent in the workplace and supported by a mentor; the remaining learning is delivered by a learning provider which could be a specialist provider or Further Education College.

Those students who do not want to take the university route after Sixth Form are kept informed of the apprenticeship options available in the wider locality via the apprenticeship WEBSITE.
